Oscar Isaac is ready to tighten his tuck, throw on some heels and grace the RuPaul’s Drag Race runway – and yes, we’re intrigued.
The Moon Knight actor, LGBTQ+ ally and self-professed daddy is a huge fan of Drag Race – he was even spotted in a gay bar watching the season 14 finale.
While taking part in a Q&A at New York Comic Con, one of the attendees – reported by Decider to be dressed in Maleficent drag – asked the question on everyone’s lips.
“I don’t know another actor with as much charisma, uniqueness, or talent” said the fan, before continuing: “I know you’re a huge fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Would you ever grace the stage of Drag Race as a judge or maybe a contestant?”
Oscar Isaac then replied: “Yes and yes.” World of Wonder? RuPaul? Are you listening?

The actor, who is due to star in the television adaptation of video game The Last of Us on HBO Max, even revealed that he has a drag name ready to go.
“I was doing drag at a very early age and my sister named me Raisin,” said Isaac during the panel.
”So I feel like I have to stick with Raisin. Raisin was — is my name. It’s one of my names.”

RuPaul recently relaunched Secret Celebrity Drag Race, which could certainly do with an injection of A-list talent. Raisin for season three, anyone?
As well as his drag leanings, Oscar Isaac is a vocal LGBTQ+ ally.
He spoke out against Florida’s Don’t Say Gay law, and urged Disney to join the fight against it at a time when the entertainment giant was refusing to do so.
“I guess my comment would be: gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gay gayyyyyy!” he said, commenting on the reviled law.
He also provided a genuine act of service to countless gay men when he delivered a monologue about his “eight inches”. Yeah.
