Is Rebel Wilson engaged? Actor sparks rumours with ring photo

Rebel Wilson has sparked speculation she’s engaged to girlfriend Ramon Agruma.

The actor, best known for her comedic genius in Pitch Perfect (and sequels), came out and announced her relationship with Agruma in June – and it seems like things are going pretty well between them.

Wilson sent fans into a frenzy with an Instagram photo that showed the pair all loved up for “date night”, that includes a hefty ring sitting pride of place on that finger. Aca-scuse me! (Sorry).

Fans immediately began their speculation, commenting: “Do I spot a wedding ring?”

“Look at the hand, look at the hand! She’s hers!”

“I’m glad Rebel found somebody and is happy as hell. Good to see that smile on her.”

Wilson was pictured wearing the same ring at a separate event – a Gala dinner in LA.

Rebel Wilson was forced to come out earlier this year after the Sydney Morning Herald threatened to ‘out’ her.

In a published – and later retracted – article, columnist Andrew Hornery said the paper had emailed Wilson’s representatives and given her “two days to comment on her new relationship with another woman”.

Before the paper could break the news, Wilson announced her relationship with fashion designer Ramona Agruma in an Instagram, captioning the photo: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

She has since stated that before Agruma, she had “never been in love”.

Hornery complained Wilson had beaten him to the punch – but the debacle sparked international condemnation.

The Herald issued three apologies in as many days as fans and commentators shared their disgust.

Wilson thanked her fans for their support, adding that it was a “very hard situation”.
